Bluehouse in Baltimore

Bluehouse is a fantastic store and resource for innovative, green products near Harbor east downtown. I haven't made a point to introduce myself to the owners but I know alot about alot of the products they carry. Some of the businesses they buy from have innovative business models which address social issues such as Escema which makes handbags from throwaway objects by disenfranchised populations in struggling countries. Over the December holidays I got some lovely wood veneer snowflakes that were laser cut- tree ornaments or gift tags. I love them as a design object.....they are unopened and in my collection. There many, many great examples. Bluehouse is a great resources, a beautiful space and has a great cafe [wireless].
Spend an afternoon.
